This simple dish is packed with nutrition and super easy!

·       1 large bunch of swiss chard, stems chopped, leaves chopped in strips 1 inch wide

·       ¼ large red onion, chopped

·       2 tbsp olive oil

·       2 pinches red pepper flakes (more if you want extra heat)

·       Pinch of salt

1.     Heat olive oil in a sauté pan over medium-high heat.

2.     Add onion and red pepper flakes. Cook until onion begins to soften and turn translucent, about 3 minutes.

3.     Add Chard and cook for 5 minutes. It will greatly reduce in size.

4.     Cover and cook over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until the chard reaches desired texture.

5.     Add salt to taste. A few pinches should do.
